Distribution of 818 school bags in the schools of (Sehar and Al-Safra districts) –Sa'ada Gov

National Foundation already implemented of Back to School Campaign including distribution of 818 school bags at 12 schools of (Sehar and Al-Safra districts) –Sa'ada Gov., Thursday, 22 November, 2017,
The campaign, which was carried out within the activities of the UNICEF-funded the project of Water, Sanitation and Communication for Development project (WASH & C4D project), which was organized by the Yemen Technical Band with the participation of leading Yemeni comedy stars to encourage students to return to school and motivate the community to work to provide alternative venues and safe for affected schools to ensure continuity of the educational process.
The campaign also included the distribution of school bag for 818 students, including 476 boys and 351 girls of those enrolled in the first and second grades of basic education in 12 schools at Sahar and Al-Safra District's schools.
The campaign aims to encourage and motivate children to return to school and end the phenomenon of dropping out of school, in addition to increasing attention to girls' education.
It should be noted that the National Foundation for Development and Humanitarian Response in progress of implementation (Construction/ Rehabilitation) of three water projects at Sahar and Al-Safra District's, these will provide clean and safe water for around 24,385 people at Wadi Noshor, Wadi Rubai, and Dho Hunaish areas at (Sahar and Safra Dsitricts- Sa'ada governorates).
