Training 20 midwives in obstetric emergencies in Al-Bayda

Tuesday, March 20, 2018, in Al-Bayda, the National Foundation for Development and Humanitarian Response (NFDHR) started a refresh course of obstetric emergencies for midwives.
The course, organized by NFDHR as a part of the Health and WASH Integrated Response for IDPs and Those Most Vulnerable to Cholera project aims to develop the capacity and skills of 20 midwives from Al-Bayda
During the course, trainees will receive theoretical lectures and practical applications on the care of pregnant mothers, how to identify the symptoms of high-risk pregnancies, natural, domestic births and non-natural births, and also learn the referral standards for the birth cases.
