Training of health workers in Al-Bayda on integrated child health care

Concluded in early April, in Sana'a, IMCI training course for health workers in the health facilities in Al-Byda Governorate

The course, carried out by the National Foundation for Development and Humanitarian Response (NFDHR) as part of the Integrated Response to Health, and WASH for IDPs and Those Most Vulnerable to Cholera in Al Bayda Governorate, aims to train and develop the capacity of 24 health workers in Al-Bayda Governorate.

The duration of course are six days, participants will receive theoretical lectures and practical applications on child diseases, their risk signs and referral system criteria for hazardous situations.

Participants will also learn about ways to treat common illnesses in children such as diarrhea, malnutrition and other common childhood illnesses.
