Training for 24 midwives on Emergency Obstetric Care Services

 On Monday, April 9, 2018, the training program for 24 midwives on Emergency Obstetric Care Services (EmOC) started in Al-Mahwit governorate, Al-Rijm district.
 
The training program aims to develop the capacity of 24 midwives on the skills of Emergency Obstetric Care Services (EmOC), as well as how to provide health care for pregnant women during pregnancy, identifying them with dangerous signs of pregnancy, how to deal with such cases and obstetric births, prevention of infection and ways to revive the newborn, and other diseases related to the care of motherhood and childhood and how they are handled.
 
The training is implemented within Urgent Response to Health Needs in 8 Priority Districts Project (Al-Bayda & Al-Mahwit) which is Funded by World Health Program (WHO).
