NFDHR completed the implementation of cash-for-work activities in Al-Mahwit

NFDHR has finished implementing the third stage of cash-for-work activities in Ar-Rujum District , Al-Mahwit Governorate.
The activities of cash-for-work were aimed at rehabilitating the agricultural terraces, water reservoirs and dams which collect rainwater.
The Foundation has targeted dozens of villages in Bani Badi, Bani Ghalebi wa Rabi'i and Al-Thari villages and within the activities of the Emergency Integrated Food, WASH and Health Interventions for the Affected Communities in Ar-Rujum District of Al Mahwit Governorate, funded by the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA).
During the three phases, 730 targeted Households, divided into 42 work groups, rehabilitated 538 plots of agricultural terraces, cleaned 61 irrigation channels and 21 rainwater harvesting tanks, and received financial incentives for their work.
