NFDHR Marib office holds workshop introducing interventions in education sector



National Foundation for Development and Humanitarian Response (Marib Office) held a workshop to introduce education interventions to be implemented in Ma’rib city as part of the activities of the Emergency Response Project to Food and Education Gaps for the most vulnerable IDPs.

 In the workshop, held with the participation of 23 local authorities and stakeholders, the project manager reviewed the activities of the project and the goals to be achieved, in addition to the discussion of the selection criteria of selecting parents' councils in schools, and protection standards in humanitarian work.

The interventions in the education sector include the establishment of 9 classrooms in the affected schools to accommodate displaced students, in addition to providing the targeted schools with 600 double school seats and 60 blackboards and blackboards, as well as supporting school boys and girls (IDPs and host community) with 10,000 school bags and supplies to encourage and motivate them to enroll in schools.
